Almost forgot the most important feature about Gallery Hotel = Free broadband!

Note the pool jutting out at the side of the building...

Here are my ratings (for things that are important to me as a business traveller):
Coffee & Tea facilities: Standard variety of tea bags and nescafe coffee.
Shower: Quite a tight fit, but comes with lots of stuffs like a pair of toothbrushes, razors etc...just in case we forget. High cool factor because of the translucent glass.
Bed: Good, anyway too tired most of the time to notice
TV Channels: Standard international news etc
Study Table: Ver narrow
Internet connection: FREE BROADBAND!! No cable provided but hotel would lend you one.
Overall Room environment: High cool factor. Room looks into another apartment block.
Breakfast: No comments cause I was always late and have to hurry for meetings
Location: Not close to MRTs but close to all the night watering holes at Mohamad Sultan Road. Difficult to get a cab especially if there's a queue and it's raining. The location of the hotel means that there are less taxi coming by.
Overall rating: 7.5 / 10

Nicely designed rooms - very unique and not your run of the mill hotels. Even the bathroom is visible from the bedroom via smoked glass (refer to picture). The mini bar is well stocked and the bed is comfortable - not the greatest but above average. Room is also well lit if you need it, or a few lights could be turned off for more relaxed mode.

Only problem is the study table is abit too narrow but I suspect their main market are not business travellers.

Eventhough the bathroom is rather small, but it was well designed - you don't get water coming out of the shower area wetting the floor. The shower jet is powerful and water heats up quickly enough. It also comes with two sets of toothbrushes and toothpaste plus comb and other stuffs in case you forget to bring your travelling kit - nice touch.

Staying in Gallery Room - S$128++ per night

4 years after registering this username, I have finally decided to "convert" it for personal use. Originally intended for use as a forum for ex-classmates but since no one bother to use it.....it has not been in use since day one.

So now I would just use it as a repository of my travel photos and maybe some comments about the places or hotels that I have stayed in.

Signing off now...have lots of meeting tomorrow. Would post more photos of the hotel I am staying in now....The Gallery at Robertson Quay.
